The CO2 laser focusing mirrors provided by FAHKNS are widely used in laser processing, such as cutting, punching, welding, and engraving, and in various laser systems. These lunar focusing mirrors are characterized by their ability to withstand high power densities, strong film layers, resistance to wiping, high transmittance after coating with double-sided transmission enhancement films, and fine spot size.

The material of these focusing mirrors is PVD ZnSe, with a wavelength of 10.6um and a diameter of 18mm/7.09". The focal lengths available are 25.4mm, 38.1mm, 50.8mm, 63.5mm, 76.2mm, 101.6mm, and 127mm, with a thickness of 2.2mm/0.87". The power range is 50w-100w, with a focal length tolerance of ±2% and a transmittance of 95.5%. The surface figure is less than λ/2 per 1" Dia, with a clear aperture of more than 90%. The AR/AR coating has a reflectance of less than 0.5% per surface, and the diameter tolerance is -0.1mm~ -0.15mm.

Before installing the lens, users should confirm the diameter and focal length. Generally, the focal length of the 2-inch focusing lens (reflected in the distance from the upper surface of the processed part to the bottom of the air nozzle) is about 6~7mm, and the user can get the most suitable focal length after adjustment according to the actual situation. The focal length is the distance between the lens and the cutting/engraving material, and it is suggested to position the convex side upward, with the plane side facing the material.

If the focusing lens is seriously polluted or cannot be cleaned effectively for a long time, or if the focusing lens is detached, the focusing lens needs to be replaced. When adjusting the focal length, users can put a piece of harder paper under the laser head, adjust the height between the laser head and the paper by the focal length ruler, and then press the 'Laser' button on the panel to make marks. By comparing the sizes of the marks made at different heights, the appropriate height can be determined as the focal length of the machine.

The material of the focusing lens is ZnSe, which is brittle and fragile, so users should be careful when disassembling and assembling the lens, avoiding too much force and collisions with hard objects. The surface has a permeable film and is susceptible to pollution, humidity, oiliness, and scratching, so it is required to provide dry and oily air in the work environment and use the recommended cleaning equipment and methods when cleaning.

The equipment must have sufficient air pressure when working, and users can check the air pressure by putting their finger into the focus mirror outlet (air nozzle) before starting the machine. Before starting the machine for the first time every day, users should take off the lens barrel with the focusing lens and observe whether the focusing lens is contaminated. The cleaning principle is to clean only when necessary, using general cleaning agents such as acetone or highly concentrated alcohol, as well as special cleaners like camera lens cleaner, ether (analytical grade), and alcohol (analytical grade), and cleaning soft cotton balls.
