The Red-Dot method starts with the alignment of Mirror 3 to Mirror 2. Our precision-engineered American Photonics laser alignment tool serves as your guiding light in this endeavor, allowing you to effortlessly set up the Mirror 3 to 2 alignment and establish a solid foundation for your entire laser system.

Once the Mirror 3 to 2 alignment is achieved, the next step is to align Mirror 2 to Mirror 1 next to the laser. By following our detailed instructions, you can ensure that Mirrors 2 and 3 are perfectly aligned, locking them in place and never touching them again.

The reverse alignment tool plays a crucial role in the process. Begin by removing the lens tube and inserting the reverse alignment tool. This tool serves as the exact center of the lens at 90 degrees +/- 10 minutes perpendicular, providing a reliable reference point for your alignment.

Next, adjust the laser tube to hit the target spot on Mirror 1, independently adjusting the front and back supports to achieve the desired alignment. Reinstall the reverse alignment tool, mark a target spot where the red dot hits the back side of the tape, and then remove the tool.

The final step is to adjust Mirror 1, both near (top nearest corner to the laser tube) and far (farthest corner from the laser tube), to the target spot on the laser head. With these steps, your alignment is complete.

It's important to note that if you encounter issues during the alignment process, such as an unleveled gantry, you may need to adjust the four corners of your machine to ensure a level gantry before proceeding with the mirror alignments.
